Gram has had a little set back but is coming around. She broke her hip on Tuesday and was operated on Wednesday. She still has her wit at times taking a few years off of her age or flirting with the guys. The Doctor doing the operation dropped his jaw when he explained the risks that included death and she responded that oh well I only have to do that once. The PT guy came in and she commented on his muscles. I could go on but I will let her tell the stories when she is well. I just thought I would let you know. She is in room 236 at Samaritan Hospital for at least a week and then it is day by day where we go after evaluations. Please keep her in your prayers.

Sorry to hear about her mishap. Sounds like she's enduring it in good spirits. Here's wishing her well and a speedy recovery.
If anyone wants an update she is doing better but still not able to come home. The swelling is just starting to go down and she is just starting to walk on it enough to use the restrooms but not by herself yet. In a few weeks we may be able to consider it but we don't want to rush her and she needs to be at full strength. She will need full time assistance in the days to come without a doubt. She enjoys the cards and calls. All this helps keeping her mind as sharp as possible. Keep her in your prayers as they say this is a 6 month process or more.
Is she still at Samaritan in 236?
